FRESH presents the photographs of Brian Wasser with an opening reception to be held this Thursday night, March 6th at Toast Coffee House in Port Jefferson Village from 7pm-11pm with a special electric guitar performance by Corey Larkin.
Imagine David Lynch and Henry Thoreau sharing a camera out in the woods and you'll sort of get an idea of what Brian Wasser's work is like. Evoking the ghostly photographic work of the 19th century, Wasser's curious eye bends back and forth between the meditative qualities of nature and the spooky silence of man-made structures. Where you once were scared, you're now at peace. Where you once felt calm, you now feel unsure. Through April 4th.
Toast Coffe House is located at 242 E Main Street in PJ. Toast offers an ecclectic tapas and dessert menu, with selected beers and boutique wines. So come out and show your support for local art!!
FRESH @ Toast Coffee House is a participant in the Port Jefferson ArtWalk which takes place the first Thursday of every month.
