Born in San Juan, Puerto Rico, in 1968, Bonilla has always had a niche for painting and his passion and brilliant sense of color and form is vividly demonstrated in this exhibit which include some of his most recent works. Bonilla has shown extensively in Puerto Rico and, since 2003, his work has been exhibited in The Museum of the Americas in Miami, The Coconut Grove Convention Center, two museums in the Dominican Republic, as well as group shows in Philadelphia and Guadalupe. Now this collection of striking oils on canvas comes to the Hamptons for the first time.
