Hi, does anyone know the origin of this? Been driving past it for years. Always wondered. Thx.
Anyone know the origin?
Don't know the origin. but I used to drive past it often with my kids.About in 2001, I noticed that it had been painted over.My kids were away, so we waited a few months. The I went to Thayers, and bought a can of red paint. We (I and a now ex) told them we intended to repaint it, and they were very much into it.We parked nearby, lights off, sneaked up to the railroad trestle and repainted it.Thereby committing vandalism, I suppose, but the statue of limitations has expired. And I considered it a family bonding experience. Here's my ex's story:https://eleanor.livejournal.com/24902.html
